Deck Chairs and Blossom

I love this time of year as new colours emerge from every branch and bud. I feel well fed on magnolia and cherry blooms and am now buzzing around the apple blossom and bluebells in the garden. 

My favourite card company Canns Down Press have published one of my favourite magnolia paintings so look out for cards in the shops!

My website is up and running and the shop is full of prints and cards. Ordering has never been easier.

Studio days are full of flowers and deck chairs. Pining over some old tatty ones I had in Portugal, I've treated myself to a pair of new/old models. They are my muses. I'll sit on them, paint them and absorb them into studio life. These objects draw me in, transport me into dreams, and beckon colour to flatten around them. They speak of sunny days and slowing down.

It's a busy year. I have 3 shows in the States. I've just had an exciting show in New York with the Greenstage Gallery with many pieces finding new homes. I have another show in Austin Texas in the coming weeks and then am in Boston in the autumn. My Italian representative Palma Arte will be taking paintings to Stockholm in October and I have a few UK shows if you are UK based and would like to see new work. 

I'm excited to be showing for the first time just down the road in Falmouth's Form Art Festival in May with a fabulous group of artists and makers, I'll have paintings at the beautiful Bromtrees Hall with the Greenstage Gallery as part of H.Art in the summer  and then  a solo show in The Spring Gallery at the Poly, Falmouth in October.
