A lot of you have asked for photos of our building project...One day, I'll write a book about it. In the meantime here is the West face before and after! It's not over yet but we've come along way! The incredible @KinThiessen has transformed this beautiful, Cornish, 17thC listed building into an enchanting home. He replicated the original 16 pane sash windows, lath and plastered the interior walls and and learnt sooooo many skills along the way. I learnt the art of putty glazing which took me nearly 2 years between painting paintings and painting windows. It's been epic but we're proud to be part of restoring this historical treasure #HeritageProperty #listedbuildingrenovation #heritagestyle #UnderTheIvy #ArtistsMakeHouses

'Top' is an original acrylic painting available to purchase from my studio. I painted it in the spring when daffodils were jostling to reach the sun. They were so joyful and entertaining to paint, the jug followed their enthusiasm and became a big top...hence the title!
